I have found Four numbers. 3970010 along with "hecho en mexico" on the back drivers side. 254 on the back passenger side. 010 on the drivers side in front of the oil filter. and the engine code is "MK01800."

When i dissassembled the engine I found that the engine had been rebuild already with very low miles on it. The inside is a clean as if I just built it, there is NO top edge on the cylinders and the bearings look great. The pistons look like new except for the carbon on top and are stamped .040.The #3970010 casting block is the most common four-inch bore block ever made.
