Madden starters not playing in playoffs.

I play Madden 24 on PC. Whenever I play a playoff game, for some reason, the backup players are the starters and I don’t have the option to bring in the starters. I feel like I tried everything to fix this problem. Anyone have any ideas? Madden 24, just like 23, just like 22, just like 21, sucks.
