Shifts smooth and neutral is very easy to find.It still has the the stock spring cam chain adjusters. I pulled the exhaust & inspection cover to visually check the adjusters at 40,000 & again at 50,000 miles, (+/-) [see attached photo links] and they appeared OK to me. Very little wear. After putting 116,000 miles on my engine I decided to get it replaced. I got my EGlide back from the shop with a new engine in Feb. 2020. After breaking in the new engine I switched to RedLine synthetic oil. I found I would have to add oil between oil changes. I would add half a quart at a time totalling a quart (sometimes more) after 5000 miles.
