The Orphix will spawn in Sentient enemies, so be prepared for a fight. At about half health, the Orphix will close up, and the Resonators will respawn. For the sentient nodes use the normal gun. There is a gun that has infinite punch through, that might be something worth looking into since it'll allow you to target the sentient nodes while still at the orphix.

The Orphix on venus already has this, and you can actually make it to 12 by simply hanging around in one room and beating the same orphix over and over. The miserable drop rate of good arcanes is a bigger deal, and reward-wise there's just no real reason to run the mode.

Armor is always good, Health means less dying and Energy is.. well, always great.
