To keep it economical some coatings are not as durable as those if more expensive guns. I had a Walther PPS M2 with a Tenerite coating. It seemed indestructible.There is a problem with the precision of the slide-lock. The manuals for each pistol explain the proper engagement of the safety. Reading the manual carefully is always advised when first owning ANY gun.
