So if your having issues with the alpha, I suggest you stop using it if you have no valid info to offer on GitHub, and wait until the rest of us and the Dev team try and fix it with our suggestions. The organic supports in PrusaSlicer provide a great support function for your 3D prints. They also allow you to save a lot of filament and print time compared to traditional support structures. In contrast to the tree supports in Cura, they branch out more finely, are easier to print and look even nicer!

Prusa Slicer 2.6 Alpha 2 added a new type of support called "organic supports", and they are mind blowing!

Prusa's organic support are based on the new algorithm (by u/Thomas_Rahm), but they improve it a bit further by making the branches smoother and rounder for stability (which is what makes them "organic"). So Prusa 2.6 and Cura 5.4 will be based on the same algorithm with only minor differences for most usecases imo.

It uses painted on support enforcers rather than auto supports and modified organic support settings as well as a normal extrusion width.
