Dec 24, 2012 · Kenmore HE3 dryer, turns on, I choose normal and the lint screen light flashes, check the lint screen and it goes off, when I hit start it makes a quick click and then does nothing, tried unplugging it and then plugging it back in but nothing changes, cleaned the front lint drawer and even unscrewed it to get inside with no help, there was quite a bit of lint in there though, not sure what ...
This will need to have the screws removed. In the lint trap alcove, you will need to remove the catch and unscrew two securing screws there as well. Once both the cover and the alcove screws have been removed, that back cover should come off.
