I remember a few years back that johnson outboards had a problem with the injection system mounts or something breaking, spraying gas all over the engine and starting fires. Your Johnson Evinrude model number is the key to finding the correct parts for your outboard motor. Model numbers are usually found on an ID tag on the mounting bracket.
