First half of qpack 1 is notoriously difficult. Hard to compare the two, but obviously AAMC is more representative. And I didn't do the best in cars myself. The AAMC basically took the old questions that were relevant to the new MCAT and repackaged them. For those unfamiliar with the old MCAT, the test was considerably different. When they designed the new MCAT they focused their efforts on producing passages that challenged your critical thinking skills as opposed to pure recall of information.
Those r pretty decent scores for uworld (which i feel is just a wee bit harder than aamc), but like the other commenter said, reviewing is the most important part. I spent 6, almost 7 months preparing for this exam. Averaged 515 on FLs, memorized the Kaplan books, and reviewed all 3,048 UWorld questions (also re-did the incorrect ones a second time). I'm not in school by the way so I basically treated studying for the MCAT like a full time job. And yet I scored a 502 on the 5/18 exam: 122/128/122/130.
Be warned that once you get to the last 200 questions or so, the difficulty level is very high and the topics, slightly obscure – still good practice though! UWorld on the whole can be harder than the AAMC, but that is a pro, and as a general rule of thumb you want to be scoring in the high 70s-80s percent accuracy on the questions.

The unscored test (called the Sample Test) gives you percentage scores for each section but not your scaled scores (118-132 and 472-528). The unscored/Sample Test is much less useful because it’s not as representative of the real test.I passed the NCLEX with 265 questions. I would say the questions on the NCLEX is a lot similar to uworld. Uworld I think is harder. I knew I kept forgetting some of the stuff I studied for that’s why I know why I reached to 265. Study all the rationales on uworld and finish the test bank it will definitely improve your test scores.

I personally believe UWORLD is much harder. The impression I got is that OP is at the start of AAMC qpack 1, which is probably some of the tougher passages out there. It gets much better about 1/3 of the way through it, to the point it’s much easier than UWORLD.

To me, the QPacks were not very useful other than to identify obvious content gaps. The section banks were the level of the harder passages on test day, but definitely were within the ballpark of things that showed up.
