Another way to get a decent chunk of ladles weekly is through Killroys skull shop in world 2. I will admit there may be better things to use your skulls on. However, when I was trying to get all my available recipes finished I spent a couple weeks gathering ladles from the Killroy's Slaughterhouse minigame (skull shop).
