You can get it pretty tight tho. I like the HC belt a lot because I wear a lot of gym clothes. Tough to wear some of the other CCW belts in gym shorts or sweatpants. This one stretches as needed too. Nextbelt is my favorite. The Kore belts are similar, but the Nextbelt buckle is smaller and thus easier to offset if you are carrying AIWB.
