Issues with SA 200 red-face. 02-10-2017, 04:21 PM. So I purchased a 1968 or 69 sa 200 F 163 Lincoln red-face Code: 6792 last year. Changed the oil, oil filter, fuel filter and changed the oil bath filter. Other than that, that's all that machine needed. I used this machine maybe 20 times (80hrs) last year for small jobs.08-17-2007, 08:55 PM. used to have sa 200. 3\32 i threw in garbage. but when i did use i ran at approx 100 amps. 1/8 i had on 120-190 setting and 45-70. 5-32 i ran @ 70 or above on 120-190 setting. The other is a 1965 redface it has 5 range positions. Since I havent opened ethier welder for brushes/bearings.As with any two different machines, you may or may not see a significant difference in welding performance and arc characteristics.
