This is the best place to start the hike, since it is located right along the trail and there are restrooms nearby. However, it can be difficult to get a parking spot midday.

Follow a hard packed, level dirt trail for 0.1 mile (0.16km) to the first hot spring. Trail continues to the right, however it gets steeper and muddier with more rocks and roots.
