I had 7.3 with basically 35s, going from 3.73 to a 4.30 gearing was fantastic, with 37s your net would be slightly lower than 4.10 gearing on a stock tire. I think 4.56 would be too tall, I’d recommend 4.30, good balance for towing and mpgs. I would go at least 4.88's if you tow anything remotely heavy.

Maybe. Most 12.50 tires are designed for 8.5" width rims at minimum. 9-10" is recommended. Stock wheels are 8 inches wide. There aren't too many 12.50s that will fit 8" rims based on factory documentation. The Toyo R/T and M/Ts, for example, require an 8.5 minimum. 37's look really great. Here's my take on them after 14,000 miles: Pros: - Look awesome. - Provides 1 extra inch of clearance. - Raises the running boards higher which provides more protection from door dings. Cons: - Truck loses off the line punch. The larger diameter is like a taller gear and hard to turn.
