A decent wild Tuso will do about 2000 damage to your turtle during a single feeding, this was my experience with a 60ish armor saddle. When I used to tame a ton of tusos I built trap with a basement where I could leave a second turtle to mate boost the one that was getting grabbed. This will reduce damage by 30%.
