It was claimed by one individual that one might be able to farm as much as 4 blood stone chunks in a single run. I don't know anything about that, as I have not been farming that there. I have, however, been farming for echoes in Cainhurst Castle. This will not be nearly as ludicrous as 4 blood stone chunks in 1-2 hours, however it might be close.
