Oct 18, 2022 · One of the longest and largest katanas in the game, the Nagakiba can fulfil all of your Sephiroth cosplay fantasies. With its incredible range and quick speeds, this is the weapon of choice for those after a flashier, more dramatic version of the Uchigatana. As with the Uchigatana, the Nagakiba can be upgraded to +25 in the Roundtable Hold.
Arcane seems to be in a really good place right now. Infusing with bleed to up it's bleed buildup or occult to scale with arcane can get pretty strong. There will be some bosses that don't bleed though so you'll want a backup option in those instances. I personally really like spin slash on a cold nagakiba regardless of build.Go keen nagakiba 70 dex 18 strength and 25 faith. Put golden vow, flame grant me strength and either electrify armament or blood flame blade. Will do really well with any aow you want to put on it. Keen no element, blood grease, shard of Alexander + standard things, golden vow and flame grant me strength is a great NG+ build imo. Naginata or nagakiba as primary. With the uchigatana as side arm. Use each when appropriate primary for pure damage and ease of use and build the uchi for bleed or some othere secondary effect. If you run nagakiba you can dual wield. My knee jerk reaction to RoB is primal rage, but if you're using it PvE and you're good at rolling, do dual katanas all the way. 12 STR to minimum equip the nagakiba with both hands. 18 if you want to 1-hand sometimes l. 22 DEX minimum. Everything else in ARC. Dragon communion seal to cast. Occult affinity on nagakiba. Not saying this is the absolute 110% ultimate way to build, but there's obviously synergy between bleed on the katana, dragon communion seal, and ARC.

probably nagakiba - compared to uchigatana it's longer and it scales a bit better from dex. Or wakidzashi if you want to be able to parry while powerstancing. OP How did this build go? It's also easier to parry and weights more so keep that in mind. It's another 14 point invested for requirement. Do you feel like your build is struggling, or that you need a second weapon? I wonder why you were told to powerstance. My guess: since 2handing increases your Str by 50%, but Keen Nagakiba has almost no Str scaling, you aren't getting any increased damage by 2handing. Nagikiba Bleed build help. Still on my first playthrough. Been using Nagikiba as my main weapon. Primarily doing a Dex-Bleed build, but Im struggling to make it work. Bloody Slash has been my main weapon art and I have a charm that whenever Blood Loss is procced I gain increased attack power. But it still feels like I struggle to kill everything.
