And it seems that might not be entirely certain either. The rest of us riff-raff who don't spring for top-of-the-line get to visit a dealership or a tire shop at every tire swap.

So, unless you have an HDS or equivalent tool, you are forced to go to the dealer every time you switch your wheels/tires.
