I started using Fidium about 6 months ago. The modem they provide is awful so be prepared to use a router for WiFi. I tried using their modem for WiFi and it kept slowing down to a crawl 3-4 times per day until I rebooted it each time. Other than that no complaints so far.

Even that outage was likely the result of someone unplugging my connection upstream, probably when they were turning up a new customer. 5.Don't have Fidium/Consolidated in yet. But have had Comcast Business for over two years, at 100 down/16 up, with 5 fixed IPs, which was running $131 a month on a 2-year contract. The contract ran out, and they bumped the charge by $30 without even contacting me first. Now Fidium quotes me ~$108 for 300/300 service, with 5 fixed IPs. Fidium is a joke. GoNetSpeed is local(er) and maxes out way below Fidium prices for 500 mbps ($70 after one year; starting price of $60 fixed for first year). Was paying more than this for shit spectrum service that didn’t come close to 500 mbps and constantly lost service. The issue occurred regardless of whether or not the two network extenders were plugged in or not. After trying lots of things, I configured my old Asus RT-ACRH13 as an access point and connected it to the 834-5 fidium router with ethernet cable and switched all devices to it.
