With hardcore was even worse. And an MMO is a bit more than the game, it envolves social gathering around the game and hardcore really resets it and break habituality in all servers. But I think DDO is on the right track now, I would like to see new faces on the team that would listen more the player base but I am happy with what we got now.

Hardcore seasons in general change how we play the game, we HAVE to be more mindful as we play, we actually care about the random gen loot, we stick together more as parties and actually fulfill roles instead of solo steamrolling. We can't use the same tactics we use on regular servers, including piking and going afk mid quest.
