Depends on your stats, really. But since it is a DEX weapon I would recommend sharp infusion and leveling up DEX. It depends on your stats. If you have high Dex you should infuse it with a sharp gem, if you have high strength maybe you should be looking to use a different weapon as it wouldn't scale very well with strength.

Falchion is just too hard to use on groups or enemies that have very small windows of vulnerability (because of that extra little time to get in striking range).
