Earth Map or Some part of Earth. Pangaea. Continents w/w-out islands. Island Plates. Seven Seas.Think Pangea / Seven seas are most fun maps. Barbarians and secret societies always on - Most fun modes tbh. Earlier I used to heavily rig games in my favor. Large maps with 8 players, seven seas / continents - abundant resources and legendary start, more hills, more jungles etc. In terms of win conditions, I play with all on.Naval combat in Civ 5 is very boring. It just comes down to who has the best frigate spam into battleship spam. Compared to land combat, there is no terrain or unit mixes for different roles. Civ multiplayer is interesting to a lot of players because they get to interact with other players. Isolation means the opposite of that.First post. Please be gentle. :)Civ6 has a map type called Seven Seas. I love that map. Having tried all the Civ6 maps, it is my favorite by far, particularly for multiplayer.
