However, you can take it anywhere as long as the shop is ok with submitting to Silver Rock. I bought a car last September and had to use the warranty. The car was a Chevy and I used a Chevy dealer for the repairs.

Took it back to mechanic. He is now ordering the turbo and going to replace mine, if it turns out to be bad. He said it would take a few days because Silverrock is a pain to deal with; he has a Land Rover in the shop with a turbo that is bad that is also a Carvana warranty car that he had to deal with Silverock with, so he speaks from experience.
