Do not reccomend. Hunting knife, your bottleneck is duct tape availability, and the hunting knife is the second best weapon to put on a spear after the machete, which is too rare to use IMO, so you're using your duct tape efficiently. High condition hunting knives can be found on trailer park zombies. Just put another spear on it!
