You most certainly can palace chase depending on Manning requirements for your afsc and grade. If your afsc at your grade is overmanned, afpc will have no problem letting you go. But if it's undermanned then you can expect to have your palace chase app rejected. I remember when I palace chased my afsc for e-4s was overmanned at more than 120%.
