May 6, 2014 · Im thinking of doing the same. I already have the lower built. Just need a barrel, BCG, and Handgaurds. I just finished building 4 AR Pistols with my boys, and ended up using MAS Defense barrels on all 4. We started out with 4 PSA stripped lowers, and then added Phase 5 pistol tubes and CMMG LPK's.
For $286, I got an assembled upper with a melonite BCG for $100 more. $286 at the time of order was only equivalent to full upper without the barrel and BCG. If I could do this upper again, it would have been all parts from AIM Surplus for a hair more with 2-3 times the quality. FC. 1. Reply.
