The KSG is an interesting gun, but Kel-Tec really just needs to pay somebody else to do production and QC on their guns. They come up with nifty ideas that they then poorly execute on. Both shotguns and AR's are useful as HD tools. Pick whichever you're most comfortable with. 15.

Is it that short number on the front left side of the metal cheek rest/stock cover? Like. 10.Ks7 is less finicky and simpler than the ksg. It's literally a pump shotgun with a 7 round tube as opposed to a 2 feeding tubes with a selector switch. Only weird part is it's a bullpup and ejects downward. I have both and yes, the ks7 is lighter and kicks harder, but the pump throw feels like a normal 870, not like a ksg. The KSG would typically cost close to a thousand bucks, but the KS7 is about half that. The KelTec KS7 holds seven rounds of 2.75-inch shells and can chamber 3-inch shells as well. That’s not a bad deal for such a small and lightweight shotgun. The KS7 is a little odd but looks to be a very effective shotgun, or at least it could be.

In the ks7 it's just a solid claw like an 870. The ksg also had a heavy feeling pump, ks7 has a really nice feeling throw. Was more concerned about an ND, than properly racking the gun. I think the KS7 requires you to "smartly" rack the pump. But fully loaded, the KSG is closer to the Tavor in terms of weight and overall size. The real advantage of the KS7 is that it is thin, light, and basic.
