For clarification the car is a japanese import 1989 2.6 190E. Had to replace the engine and transmission and installed m103 983 engine and transmission from w124 300E. So far I've seen 1jz, LS, and Bmw engine swaps into it. However, I haven't really been able to find any information on the process of swapping.The easiest swap out, would be a 90-93 300SL Engine Swap. It is the newer 24valve m104 engine. Its a 3.0, 7000rpm limit, and 228hp, 201 lb.ft. torque using the old KE Elctro-Mechanical Fuel Injection like that used on the older m103 Inline 6. If you had everything from the brain, to the engine, this would work.The standard swap for more power is the M104 TWIN CAM six cylinder which basically shares the same block as the earlier single cam straight six 2.6 M103 so most of the hardware is there already and you know its going to fit.
